Zayn Malik Performs New Song On The Tonight Show

It’s been almost a year since Zayn Malik decided to leave One Direction and according to the latest gist, it seems that the singer is doing just fine without the pop band. Malik has premiered a brand new song titled “It’s You” during his guest appearance on The Tonight Show on Wednesday. He previously revealed that the track was about his break-up with Perrie Edwards, his former fiancée. The pop star claims that the track was a form of therapy for him and that the whole songwriting process helped him get through those tough times.
One Direction officially announced that Malik had left the band on March 31st, 2015. Since then, he’s been teasing us with small bits and pieces from his first solo studio album, including the demo of the song “I Won’t Mind.” The album, which is titled “Mind of Mine,” is scheduled to be released sometime this year.
