Rapper T.I. has now opened about the alleged brawl with boxing champion Floyd Mayweather Jr. According to him, he wasn’t left with two black eyes over the weekend in Las Vegas, as the rumors suggested.
Reportedly, T.I. approached Mayweather outside a burger restaurant on Sunday, May 25 and exchanged some words, before hitting him.
Bodyguards intervened as the fight escalated, and police arrived, but later, after the two star have already left the location.
T.I has taken to his Instragam.com page to dismiss the rumors saying he was beaten up by the legendary boxer. He also showed off his uninjured face in a short video, in which he says, “What they say I got two black eye (sic)?”
He didn’t say what was the cause of the bust-up, but he admitted his right hand was hurt in the altercation as he holds up his bandaged arm and laughs, “F**ked my hand though, that’s about it.”
Meayweather has now spoken out to share the other side of the story, claiming that his problems with T.I. stems from his friendship with \T.I.\s wife, Tameka ‘Tiny’ Cottle.
The sportsman says he was having a meal at the Fatburger restaurant when T.I. walked up and confronted him when “a riot kinda (sic) broke out“.
Mayweathe, Jr. told NecoleBitchie.com, “He probably does some foolish things, but he ain’t no damn fool to swing on me (sic). Like, you must’ve forgot what I do for a living.”
He then went on and apologized to Cottle for telling T.I. to “control your b**ch“, as a reference to the former Xscape bandmemeber.
He added, “I don’t want to say that about Tiny. So I do apologise to Tiny because she cool people (sic). She never been disrespectful to me (sic).”
Cottle hasn’t commented on the incident yet.
