Vin Diesel: Movie Role Helped Me Cope With Paul Walker’s Death

Vin Diesel often talks about how difficult it was for him to deal with the loss of his friend and co-star Paul Walker, who died in 2013 while they were filming the seventh installment of the Fast & Furious franchise.
The action star recently said that one of the roles he played after Walker’s death really helped him to cope. That was when he played a character in the sci-fi flick “Last Witch Hunter” that was immortal.
He talked about how that character felt remorse, even though he was unable to die, and how he had to mask his pain. Diesel said that he used this character to get himself through some very difficult times after Walker’s death.
The young star died in a car crash in late 2013, when the Porsche he was in the passenger seat of crashed and burned. Furious 7 was completed and released as a touching tribute to Walker.
