Vanessa Hudgens Gives Brave “Grease” Performance After Father’s Death

Actress and singer Vanessa Hudgens performed in a remake of the classic “Grease,” which was broadcast live to viewers on Sunday night, so we were already talking tons of pressure. But Hudgens had a lot more on her mind that day.
Namely, she announced on Twitter right before the performance that her father Greg had passed away from stage 4 cancer. She also announced that she would be doing the show in his honor. Going on stage after getting hit with news that tragic must have been incredibly hard. But Hudgens mustered up the strength to give an absolutely amazing performance, staring as Rizzo.
The “Spring Breakers” actress had the performance of a life time, and the entire Internet chimed in to congratulate her. One of the most vocal supporters was her boyfriend Austin Butler. Here are some of the reactions.
