Twilight Star Files for Divorce

Once called the cutest couple in Hollywood by many, it seems that the marriage between Nikki Reed and Paul McDonald is no more. Reed is known mainly for her roles in the Twilight movies, but he is also a singer and songwriter. McDonald was a contestant on American Idol, which is where Reed first saw him and fell in love with him.
The two have even recorded some songs together. According to news regarding the divorce, Reed is citing irreconcilable differences and is asking the court to deny McDonald spousal support. The couple got married in July of 2011. According to sources close to the two, they decided that a divorce would be best back in March, and they have already been living apart for the last six months.
The two met while McDonald was still on American Idol. They first met at a red carpet event for the premier of the movie Red Riding Hood. They were married a couple of months later.
The couple also recorded a few songs together. One was called Now That I’ve Found You, and the other was All I’ve Ever Needed, which wound up being a big hit for Twilight fans since it was included in one of the movies. They released an EP together called The Best Part, which was received well.
They also worked together on filming videos for other artists, namely the 2013 video of the group Hanson for a song called Get the Girl Back.
