This Met Gala Was Probably The Tackiest Ever

Wow, some of the outfits at this year’s Met Gala were truly horrendous. The theme was a futuristic one – Fashion in an Age of Technology – so you knew that it was going to be terrible. Usually, when celebrities try to predict fashions of the future they end up looking like rejects from popular science fiction movies.
Take Kanye West and Kim Kardashian for example. Kanye was wearing a bedazzled tin foil jacket with ripped blue jeans and suede cowboy boots, pretty much looking like Lando Calrissian’s gay cousin. Did we mention he was wearing blue contact lenses as well? EWW.
Kardashian wasn’t much better. She pretty much looked like a human version of Jiffy Pop popcorn on the verge of exploding.
If you want to make a list of people who showed up as tacky futuristic sci fi villains it would be a long one and would include people like Bette Midler,Madonna and Taylor Swift, who looked like she was going to a goth-themed prom.
But Beyonce probably took the cake last night with her beige dress that, believe it or not, looked like it was covered in pimples. The designer apparently forgot to “Oxycute Em!”
