Steven Seagal is one very strange man. He has always had the skills when it came to beating up guys; there is no doubt about that. There was even a time when it seemed he might make it as a serious actor, back in the 1990s.
In the meantime, we learned that he is full of imaginary stories about himself and his accomplishments, that he cannot really act, that he is an actual member of law enforcement and that he is actually quite a good blues musician (which is perhaps the weirdest thing of all). He also rubbed elbows with some pretty shady characters in Chechnya, which is a whole different kind of Hollywood strange.
And even though he did rock his role in Machete, he has definitely fallen out of the public eye and only the most ardent fans of his are aware that he is still making crappy straight-to-DVD movies.
