10. Ginuwine
Ginuwine was able to become one of the biggest R&B names back when R&B was all the rage in the late 1990s and early 2000s, which was no small feat by any standard. When you consider the fact that he did it with one of the most ridiculous stage names of all times, his success becomes even more spectacular.
His albums were selling like hot cakes, Ginuwine…the Bachelor, 100% Ginuwine, The Life, The Senior. He was all over the place and he seemed to be unable to do anything wrong. All of a sudden, his fame began to wane and it is a mystery to this day as to why this happened, really.
We just know that there was this controversy about his album I Apologize which the record company released with only three of his songs, obtained from stolen masters nonetheless.
He has been trying to get things rolling with an R&B group TGT, but it just hasn’t been working.
