Legendary actor and director Woody Allen ended his 12-year relationship with actress and humanitarian Mia Farrow in 1992, after she found nude photographs of her adopted daughter Soon-Yi Previn in Allen’s apartment, and learned her then 56-year-old boyfriend had been sleeping with her then 21-year-old daughter.
Although Allen’s affair went down in history as one of the biggest Hollywood scandals of all time, the actor and Previn are still together after more than two decades and have two adopted daughters. Here’s what Allen said of their relationship in 2011:
“What was the scandal? I fell in love with this girl, married her. We have been married for almost 15 years now. There was no scandal, but people refer to it all the time as a scandal and I kind of like that in a way because when I go I would like to say I had one real juicy scandal in my life.”
