7. Kristen Stewart And Rupert Sanders
Best known for playing Bella Swan in the Twilight Saga film series, Kristen Stewart cheated on her boyfriend Robert Pattison with director Rupert Sanders in 2012. The affair left Stewart ‘devastated’ for ruining her longtime relationship with the Twilight co-star, while the Snow White and the Huntsman director said in a statement that he was ‘utterly distraught’ for the pain he caused his wife Liberty Ross and their two children.
Soon after pictures of Stewart and Sanders appeared online, both of them released brokenhearted statements of apology. Here’s what the young actress told Pattison:
“I’m deeply sorry for the hurt and embarrassment I’ve caused to those close to me and everyone this has affected. This momentary indiscretion has jeopardized the most important thing in my life, the person I love and respect the most, Rob. I love him, I love him, I’m so sorry.”
Though both couples tried to fix their relationships, neither Stewart and Pattison nor Sanders and Ross stayed together.
