Before Brad Pitt and Angelina tied the knot, the Tomb Raider star was married to Monster’s Ball actor Billy Bob Thornton. As a matter of fact, she even had his name tattooed on her arm and wore a vial of his blood around her neck.
At the time, these two eccentric love birds seemed perfect for each other. The only problem was that when they met and started their controversial relationship, Billy Bob was already engaged to The Fault in Our Stars actress Laura Dern.
Commenting on the unpleasant situation, Dern was quoted as saying:
“I left our home to go and make a movie and while I was away, my boyfriend got married and I never heard from him again.”
They seemed crazy about each other and the world believed Jolie and Thornton were kindred spirits, but the infamous couple separated after only two years of marriage.
