Desperate Housewives actress Eva Longoria and NBA player Tony Parker called it quits after three years of marriage in November 2010, and the reason for their split was another woman, wife of Parker’s former Antonio Spurs teammate Brent Barry.
Longoria discovered hundreds of sexy text messages from another woman on her husband’s phone and later found out that the woman in question was actually Erin Barry. It was soon discovered that that the Barrys had also filed for divorce.
While Parker never addressed the affair in public, Longoria opened up about his infidelity in 2012. Here’s what she said:
“It was definitely not about me. Knowing the truth “didn’t make me feel better, but it helped me understand. I am so secure in who I am. I really am. And I’m not conceited. I just think, ‘Wow, okay, that’s the life you want to live.'”
While the end of her marriage did upset her deeply, Longoria didn’t give herself a hard time over it and quickly moved on.
