13. Dean McDermott
In December 2013, various tabloids reported that Tori Spelling’s husband of seven years, actor and reality TV star Dean McDermott, cheated on her with then 28-year-old Emily Goodhand. After telling Goodhand that he had a sexless marriage, the two had a two-day affair in Toronto.
Though Tori and Dean didn’t address the infidelity scandal at first, McDermott entered rehab in January 2014. It was later confirmed that he went to rehab because he had suicidal thoughts after cheating on his wife.
Tired of being slammed for his betrayal, Dean defended his actions in October 2014. Here’s what he said:
“I messed up. People make mistakes, but those mistakes don’t define them. It’s what you do after the mistakes that really shows your true character. So I would like people to take away from all of this that I’m a good guy that messed up that is just trying to put my life back together. Our life back together.”
Tori and Dean are still together, although their marriage continues to be on the rocks.
