The Crash star Thandie Newton has given birth to a baby boy.
Newton and her husband Ol Parker welcomed their third child on Monday. The news was revealed through a series of tweets on her Twitter page, where the birth of baby Brooker Jombe Parker took place at home.
She tweeted, “Our baby boy is finally here! Booker Jombe Parker. Born joyously at home… My 3rd (sic) home birth with brilliant independent midwife… Keep independent midwifery alive!”
This is the first son in the family after two daughters, Ripley, 13, and Nico, 9.
The Mission Impossible II actress announced her pregnancy in September and later revealed she had difficulties portraying Grace Travis in police drama Rogue.
Back then she said, “Basically, I had two options; to withdraw from the show which would have meant the show collapsing, or to commit regardless.”
In addition, her husband also tweeted, “We had a baby, that’s a beautiful thing. He’s called Booker, and while he doesn’t do much yet, I suspect him to be awesome.”
