Sony Addresses Kesha, Dr. Luke Legal Battle

Sony Music has broken their silence regarding the legal battle between pop star Kesha and her former producer Dr. Luke.
According to the music giant, they claim that they have enabled Kesha to continue to make music without any association with Dr. Luke, however, they can do nothing about releasing her from her binding contract with the producer, which was recently upheld by the courts.
Kesha has claimed that Dr. Luke emotionally and mentally abused her, and even drugged and raped her.
Dr. Luke denied all of the allegations and even filed a counter-suit against Kesha for defamation of character.
The singer has received a lot of support from the pop world recently. Celebrities like Taylor Swift and Adele have openly supported her. Swift even donated $250,000 to Kesha to help her with her legal fees and Adele voiced her support for Kesha publicly at this week’s Brit Awards.
