Solange Knowles Getting Married To Longtime Boyfriend

Solange Knowles makes sure her profile is never as high as her sister Beyonce’s, at least when it comes to gossip and her private life.
The singer, known for her lovely afro and very individual fashion style, did her best to stay out of the public eye and avoid being gossiped about, which is why her relationship with the music video producer Alan Ferguson was mostly kept private until now.
Solange and Ferguson have known each other for a long time, since he directed several of Beyonce’s videos and has also been a close friend of the Knowles family. The two have been dating for five years and it is rumored that he popped the question in June in Jamaica, where Solange was celebrating her birthday.
The wedding will take place at their home in New Orleans and the weekend will include a movie night, a rehearsal dinner and, of course, the wedding ceremony on Sunday.
