Sherlock Holmes Marries Sophie Hunter In Private Ceremony

Some celebrities go all crazy with their wedding and turn it into more of a show than a romantic and unique day, but not Benedict Cumberbatch.
Everyone’s favorite Sherlock Holmes and Smaug and his fiancée Sophie Hunter got married this weekend, away from the prying eyes and lenses of the paparazzi.
The couple met in 2008 when they were filming a movie called Burlesque Fantasies together and they hooked up soon after. They got engaged in November and they followed it quickly with a romantic wedding in the south of England.
It was a small wedding, a real private function with only the closes friends and family attending. Benedict’s spokesman said:
Benedict and Sophie were married yesterday surrounded by their close friends and family. It was a magical day.
One attendee at the wedding was Tom Hiddlestone who also said that it was a very private occasion and very romantic.
