Selena Gomez Really Loves Amy Schumer (VIDEO)
Pop singer Selena Gomez presented the Hollywood Comedy Award to actress Amy Schumer at last night’s Hollywood Film Awards, held at the Beverly Hilton Hotel.
In case you didn’t know it, Gomez is a huge Schumer fan. Gomez was ecstatic that she was able to present the award to Schumer. It was actually supposed to be a-list actress Jennifer Lawrence presenting, but since she could not make it to the event, Gomez got to take her place.
The singer said that Schumer is the first comedian that speaks to the women of her generation and said that she loves her. Gomez added that she is obsessed with Schumer, talks about her all the time, tries to impersonate her often and even tweets at her on the regular.
Schumer thanked Gomez for the kind words when receiving the award, joking with that Gomez was actually the person that she wanted to present the award to her and that she didn’t even ask Lawrence to do it in the first place.
