Not every actress in Hollywood eagerly awaits an opportunity to strip off for a movie. You might be surprised to find out that Sandra Bullock got into a fight with Gravity executives about the scene in her underwear.
It might not be a big deal for some, but Sandra certainly thought so. And frankly, we think so too.
Even though the astronaut portrayed by Sandra in the Oscar-nominated movie was seen wearing very little while in the space shuttle, she went furious when directors wanted to do a close-up shot of her exposed behind. She also revealed that she wasn’t happy for having to appear in a skimpy outfit, and that the executives went too far.
“I worked out hard for this movie; I had to because there is a lot of me on show. I had a few arguments about the scenes where I’m basically in my underwear with pants that don’t even cover my bottom!,” said Bullock.
“I’m flying away from the camera so my butt is in people’s faces a lot. I mean, why is that necessary?”
Well, Sandra, try explaining some of this to the Kardashians. We bet they wouldn’t understand any of your complaints.
Bullock is nominated for the Best Actress BAFTA at this year’s ceremony and Best Actress Oscars, along with Emma Thompson, Cate Blanchett and Amy Adams. We wish them all good luck.
