Rose McGowan Sued After Her Dog Seriously Injured An Elderly Woman

Actress and singer Rose McGowan has been sued by an elderly woman who claims she was left brain damaged after being pushed over by McGowan’s dog. Elna Ebner, 85, explained that she was walking with her daughter in the Hollywood Hills when Noodle, McGowan’s dog, who was under the supervision of a dog walker, jumped up at her, causing her to fall backwards and hit her head on the pavement. Her skull was cracked as a result.
McGowan called the accident “terribly sad,” although she believes she shouldn’t be held responsible for it. Here’s what the actress said:
Elna walks through the neighborhoods every day. She’s a trooper. I was working in NYC when my dog walker stopped to talk to two of my neighbors. My sweet as pie foster dog, Mrs Noodle, a large but terribly gently mixed breed put her paws on the knees of a woman that stands 4’7″.The woman was standing on the hill’s 65 percent incline. This terribly sad accident was an unfortunate sequence of events. Do I wish this tiny elderly woman hadn’t stopped to talk to my foster dog? Yes. Did it happen? Yes. Am I responsible? No.
The lawsuit comes just a month after McGowan filed for divorce from artist Davey Detail, whom she dated for less than two years before they decided to get married in October 2013. Like many other celebrities, she cited irreconcilable differences as the main reason for the split.
