Robin Williams Had Parkinson’s

It has been revealed that comedian Robin Williams, who killed himself earlier this week, was diagnoses with Parkinson’s disease very recently.
According to sources close to the family, he knew that he was in the early stages of the disease, but he had only told people that were very close to him and did not want to make it public.
His third wife Susan Schneider confirmed to the media that it was true, and said that he was fighting against the disease. She said that Williams was sober and had not relapsed back to using drugs and alcohol. However, she noted that he not only struggled with depression and anxiety, but also the early stages of Parkinson’s. She added that he was not ready to share this news publically yet.
Parkinson’s is a degenerative disease that attacks the nervous system. Actor Michael J. Fox was diagnoses with the disease at an unusually early age and has done a lot towards researching the disease and helping people understand it better as well.
