Robin Williams’ Daughter Leaves Social Media After Father’s Death

Actress Zelda Williams, who is the daughter of Robin Williams, abandoned her Twitter and Instagram accounts, saying that she was receiving too much negative feedback on them in the wake of her father’s death.
She said that she would be leaving the accounts indefinitely and will decide later whether she will start using them again or just shut them down. The 25 year old said that she was receiving many hurtful messages on both social media sites, and she can’t deal with them now.

She said that she needs some time to heal and decide whether she will be returning to them or not, Zelda said on her Instagram account:
In this difficult time, please try to be respectful of the accounts of myself, my family and my friends. Mining our accounts for photos of dad, or judging me on the number of them is cruel and unnecessary. There are a couple throughout, but the real private moments I shared with him were precious, quiet, and believe it or not, not full of photos or ‘selfies.
