Robin Thicke Separates From His Wife After 9 Years

As much as this month has been defined as the month of love with all the new couples coming out, so has it been a month of heartache.
Blurred Lines hitmaker Robin Thicke and his long-time wife Paula Patton have announced going their separate ways.
The duo has been each other’s significant other since Thicke was 14 years old and tied the knot in 2005, when in 2010 they received their first child, son Julian.
However, recent rumors have been speculating Robin’s indiscretions with socialite Lana Scolaro following a MTV Video Music Awards after-party in NY, last September. The pair was photographed getting cozy and Thicke being handy with Scolaro’s behind, upon which she went further to publically claim the rendezvous had more to it than that.
Despite this, Patton’s representatives have brushed aside the incident as nothing more than “a girl looking for attention”, and stated that the separated couple “aren’t concerned” with the infidelity claims.
A statement was issued to People.com saying, “We will always love each other and be best friends, however, we have mutually decided to separate at this time.”
