It seems the mutual decision to go their separate way wasn’t so mutual – can it have something to do with the infidelity rumors, after all?
Less than a week after Robin Thicke and his 9-year wife Paula Patton announced their split, Thicke took to the stage in Fairfax, Virginia, after several previous canceled shows, serenading his wife with a soulful rendition of his song Lost Without U.
The Blurred Lines hitmaker was forced to delay his tour due to voice troubles, and also canceled several shows following the shocking announcement, but finally managed to get his ordeals in order and got back on the road on Thursday.
During the concert in Fairfax, Thicke, who was wearing his wedding ring throughout the performance, turned to the crowd saying, “For y’all that don’t know, me and my wife separated, but I’m trying to get my girl back. She’s a good woman.”
He also spoke to TMZ.com earlier in the day conveying, “You know, I’m just trying to get her back… Just trying to figure it out, man.”
Nine years is a long time to pour down the drain… Let’s hope you find a way, Thicke.
