Police Keeps An Eye On Lion Killing Dentist
One of the biggest stories of the week has been the sad and disgusting story of Dr. David Palmer, a dentist from Minnesota who went to Zimbabwe in order to kill a lion. The lion he chose was the icon of a national park where he reigned for more than a decade. Palmer had a professional tracker lure the lion outside the park limits and the dentist then killed him (the lion, not the tracker).
Animal lovers from all over the world (and not just them) have been in an uproar ever since the news came out and their outrage has culminated in a whole avalanche of death threats addressed to the lion killing dentist.
The local police department are taking these threats very seriously and they are regularly checking up on the neighborhood and Palmer’s home.
