People’s “Sexiest Man Alive” For 2014 is … Chris Hemsworth!

Being chosen as the “Sexiest Man Alive” by the influential People magazine is a big deal. As this year’s hunk, Chris Hemsworth said, it gives you the right to tell your wife you can’t be bothered to do the dishes or change the kids’ diapers.
It also gives you a big interview and a teasing centrefold photo in People magazine. Sure, many fans of the sexy star will be running to the newsstand to pick up an issue of the mag.
The star of the movie Thor, who had his breakthrough with the Marvel’s hit movie in 2011 and reprised the role several times more, was revealed as the “Sexiest Man Alive” on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, where the audience was given the chance to guess who the winner of the award is through a series of questions submitted via Skype.
Other contenders for the title were Chris Pratt, Neil Patrick Harris, Idris Elba and Matthew McConaughey. In 2013, the title was held by Maroon 5’s Adam Levin.
