News stations are reporting that the daughter of late actor Paul Walker is suing Porsche for her father’s death. The “Fast and Furious” star was killed in an accident while driving around in a Porsche Carrera GT with his friend Roger Rodas.
Walker’s daughter Meadow claims that the lack of safety features in the car are to blame for the fact that her father was not able to come out of the accident alive. She claims in the lawsuit that if the Porsche has all of the proper safety features installed the accident and the death of her father could have been prevented.
She states in the lawsuit that the Porsche should have had an electronic stability control system installed, claiming that this is a safety feature that belongs in all high-performance, hyper-sensitive sports cars. She also claims that the seat belt malfunctioned, which is why Walker was unable to get out of the car before it caught on fire.
