Comedy Central announced that they will be cutting a number of jokes which were made at the Justin Bieber roast and which referenced the death of Paul Walker, a beloved actor who passed away in November 2013.
The Roast itself was a bonanza of Bieber-ripping which will definitely be one of the most watched roasts in channel’s history, mostly due to the fact that many people do not really care about Bieber and his antics. To put things mildly.
However, we will not be getting all the jokes that were made as Comedy Central decided to cut a number of Paul Walker jokes that some of the roasters made.
A Comedy Central rep said:
Roasts often push the limits of good taste and we give the participants full reign to try things knowing we have the edit to shape the show. Sometimes the line is discovered by crossing it. The Paul Walker references will not be in the telecast.
