Hollywood’s favorite bachelor George Clooney and his fiancée Amal Alamuddin are prepared for their big day, with guests arriving and decorations going up in Venice, Italy, ahead of their wedding on Saturday, September 27.
Venice’s luxurious five star Hotel Cipriani is being transformed into a romantic idyll, ready to host a festive weekend. The hotel’s elegantly converted 19th century Granary is fitted out with crystal chandeliers and lavish place settings ready for the celebration, as Us Weekly’s exclusive preview snap reveals. According to a source, everything is almost ready.
“Her mom [Baria] is at the hotel already with a host of family members. They seem excited about the festivities. I heard her mom say, ‘I can’t believe it’s actually here!'”
The bride’s sister, Tala, and her partner are also staying at the hotel, and making the most of their time in the Italian city.
As Us already reported, bride-to-be Amal arrived at Milan airport with her mom on Thursday morning. She and Clooney are expected to arrive in Venice today, as are celeb pals Matt Damon and wife Luciana Barroso, Rande Gerber and wife Cindy Crawford, and Bono – some of the couple’s famous friends jetting in for the event.
