Mike Epps’s accuser, a woman who accused him of assaulting her at a party has been named as actress Simone Shepherd.
The alleged victim was attending an event at a bowling alley in Los Angeles after the premiere for A Haunted House 2 on Wednesday, April 16, when the alleged attack occurred. He is accused of attacking the woman during a dispute.
The woman is now identified as actress Simone Shepherd, who had several roles in short movies, including a U.S. TV series Reality Hell.
After the incident, Shepherd took a photo of herself, which was later published on TMZ.com. The photo features the actress with a swollen face.
Mike has since denied any accusations about striking the woman, and even claims she was the one who threw a drink at him and his partner when he asked her to leave.
Police are now investigating Shepherd’s complaint.
A representative says Simone got into a heated conversation with Mike’s wife at the premiere, but also said when Mike separated them, that he actually punched her in the face.

Although police say Simone showed no signs of injury at the party, she says her jaw was swelling like a melon later that night. Then she took the selfie.
TMZ reports that Simone, a semi-famous comedienne, said that she and Mike’s wife, Mechell, got into a dispute at Lucky Strike in Downtown L.A. and when Mike tried to separate them, he hit her in the face.
Cops were called to the scene and they didn’t see any visible scars.
