Maurice White Of Earth, Wind And Fire Dies At 74

To be perfectly, absolutely honest, we didn’t think about Earth, Wind & Fire for at least 20 years until today and we were reminded of them for the worst possible reason – the band’s main man died.
Maurice White, the man who brought the entire world so much happiness with his music, lost the battle against Parkinson’s which he fought valiantly for more than twenty years. It is strange how one doesn’t think that often about some really great people who have done incredible stuff for our music, film, literature and whatnot.
We almost feel like we should apologize to Maurice, but knowing him, he would probably say there was no need. Instead, we will just wish him to rest in peace and make heaven a better place.
