Marilyn Manson has denied any involvement in the shocking Lana Del Rey sexual assault footage which is thought to be directed by Eli Roth.
In the video, the 29-year-old Blue Jeans singer is left in tears after a man sexually assaulted her. Footage from the controversial video leaked online earlier this week, despite the fact that Roth told Larry King in 2013 that the clip was “so sick it’s been locked in a vault for over a year”.
Although some believe the video was made for Marilyn Manson, his representative told Billboard magazine that he had nothing to do with the footage.
“Manson did not direct this, shoot it, not was it for a Marilyn Manson video or out-take footage made by him or to be used by him with his music. It must be a fan video splicing up old Manson video footage with someone else’s Lana Del Rey footage.”
Representatives for Lana Del Rey and Eli Roth are yet to comment.
