Madonna’s Wedding Dress From Sean Penn Marriage Sells For More Than $80 Thousand

Madonna’s personal and professional clothes brought in a lot of money at Icons & Idols: Rock n’ Roll charity auction in Beverly Hills. Julien’s Auctions said that bidders from all around the world wanted Madonna’s clothes and paid big bucks for them.
The gown and stole from her Material Girl video sold for $73,125, while the wedding dress the pop icon wore when she married Sean Penn in 1985 fetched $81,250. Her jacket from Desperately Seeking Susan sold for a record $252,000 and one earring worn in the film brought in $34,375.
Although the 56-year-old Queen of Pop is a fashion icon, she recently admitted to Billboard that she made some fashion mistakes in the past.
“I think I had a lot of bad hair moments. In the early 80’s just sometimes I wore purple lipstick or green lipstick. Clothing-wise, I am happy about the way I dressed.”
