A lone gunman killed two moviegoers and wounded additional nine at a ‘Trainwreck’ screening in Lafayette, Louisiana.
Twenty minutes into Amy Schumer’s new movie, the gunman shot two people sitting in front of him, stood up and opened fire into the audience of around 100.
One of the people in the audience managed to pull the fire alarm and the police stormed into the theater. The gunman started walking away from them when another shot was heard. The police found the body of the shooter, dead from a self-inflicted wound.
The name of the gunman has not yet been released although he is known to local police from before, according to the sources. Amy went on Twitter to tell her fans that she is heartbroken and that her thoughts and prayers are with everyone in Louisiana.
