James Franco now has a new muse for his vast talents. He has found inspiration in his hilarious colleague Seth Rogen.
Franco painted his nude friend in series of paintings. He took to Twitter.com to show off his latest pieces of art. He writes, “Seth Rogen nude paintings – get ready!!! Theyre coming!!!”
One picture features a nude Rogen stretched out on a bed, while another one portrays him kneeling over looking through his legs.
Earlier in April, James showed off his nude body in series of shirtless selfies. On one he was holding an apple. His nudity came only one day after he had a feud with New York Times critic Ben Brantley, when he called him a ‘little bitch’ in a tweet.
James made his first appearance on a Broadway stage in the revival of Of Mice And Men, alongside Chris Dowd and Leighton Meester.
While the play received great notices from publications such as Variety and The Hollywood Reporter, the theater community’s paper of record, The New York Times, was not that satisfied.
In fact, Brantley seemed to be rather neutral about the play.
“Such responses may bedevil you as you settle in for the respectable, respectful and generally inert revival of John Steinbeck’s ‘Of MIce and Men,” he wrote in regards to the play’s familiarity.
“The presentation is lucid, stately and neutral,”’ Brantley continued.
Maybe this harsh comment made Franco think nudity would be a great response.
