Kim Throws Bridal Shower

Kim Kardashian celebrated her upcoming high-profile wedding to rapper fiancé Kanye West, with a fancy bridal shower in Beverly Hills on Saturday, May 10.
The reality TV star will marry Kanye in Paris, France on May 24. She marked the remainder of her single life with a pre-wedding party with her famous friends and family.
On the guest list at Peninsula Hotel were her famous sisters Khloe and Kortney Kardashian, her manager mother Kris Jenner, singer Ciara, then reality TV star Larsa Pippen and socialite Brittany Gastineau.
According to some reports, the Paris-themed ceremony had been set to take place at the Beverly Hills Hotel, but after the bride-to-be heard that the hotel’s owner, Sultan of Brunei Hassanal Bolkiah, implemented a law in his country that includes the stoning to death of gay people, the star decided to boycott the venue.
As TMZcom first reported, the only thing holding up the Kim and Kaye’s wedding now is the pre-nup. According to the sources, the pair should sign on the dotted line this week, opening the door for the wedding, which we’re told would take place on May 24.
This way, she joined the club of other celebrities such as Ellen DeGeneres, Jay Leno and Sharon Osbourne. They all vowed to stay out of the Sultan’s hotel until the law is reversed.
