As far as celebrity news go, this is a pretty complicated case, so please bear with us.
It all started back in 2012 when Kim, Khloe and Kourtney Kardashian joined forces with a company by the name Boldface to sell a makeup line which got the name Khroma Beauty. Soon after, they were hit by a court ruling saying that they cannot use that name.
The line was renamed Kardashian Beauty but was never very successful. Their partner started tanking and it would all be lost if not for a new investor called Hillair Capital Investment which decided to put up $10 million to save the makeup line. Supposedly, the sisters were required to Tweet about their line as part of the agreement and they somehow failed to do it. Because it is extremely hard to do something like that.
Well, Hillair is now suing, asking not only for the $10 million, but also for the loss of potential profits which they approximate to be somewhere around $180 million. All in all, the Kardashian ladies are being sued for around $200 million.
