Last week, Kesha accused producer Dr. Luke of mentally and sexually abusing her. Allegedly, that’s what forced her to go to rehab earlier this year. She stated that he forced himself on her after making her take drugs and alcohol during a flight. She also accused Dr. Luke, real name Lukasz Gottwald, of taking advantage of her in a hotel after forcing her to take drugs.
After a judge released a 2011 deposition, in which she swore under oath that she had never been intimate with Dr. Luke, Kesha’s accusations are holding less weight, according to TMZ.com.
In the deposition, Kesha is asked if she’s ever been intimate with him, to which she says, “No.” As for drugs, “Dr. Luke never gave me coke.”
Dr. Luke is now countersuing Kesha, accusing her of defamation and extortion. Her attorney, Mark Geragos, calls the release of the deposition papers “a pathetic attempt to once again blame the victim.”
Geragos also claims the singer lied under oath because he threatened her.
“Luke walked Kesha down the beach and threatened to destroy Kesha’s life and the lives of her family if she didn’t cover up his sexual assaults.”
