Kelly Clarkson Cancels Remaining Tour Dates
It appears that doctors advised Kelly Clarkson to cancel what was left of her 2015 Piece by Piece tour and focus on some “vocal rest.”
The American Idol spoke out to her fans via her website:
“I am truly sorry that I have to cancel the remainder of my tour dates. I was so looking forward to sharing this tour with all my amazing fans in Canada and the UK. Unfortunately, my doctor is telling me I have to stay on vocal rest, but I am working hard to get better as fast as possible.”
Clarkson, 33, hit the headlines early last month after letting the world know she was pregnant for the second time. She broke down multiple times while trying to sing “Piece by Piece,” and then proceeded to let the cheering crowd know about the cause of her demeanor:
“I was not planning on announcing this, but I’m totally pregnant, I didn’t want you to think I was on pills or something! Everything is great. I haven’t vomited yet, that’s a win!”
Clarkson and her husband Brandon Blackstock have already been graced with a child, a 15-month-old daughter named River Rose, and they say that, even though her first pregnancy had some tough moments, they are ready for another child.
Clarkson explained on the Zach Sang and the Gang radio show that her body deteriorated during her first pregnancy. She added that she doesn’t mind going through all the pain once again, concluding that she would now like a baby boy.
