Katy Perry To Perform At Super Bowl 2015

Everyone knows that the Super Bowl is the world’s most watched sports event and its halftime show usually gathers more viewers than the game itself.
This is mostly due to the huge names that are always booked for the show. The halftime show is always a special gig, whether it remains remembered for a controversy (see Janet Jackson wardrobe malfunction) or for the career boost the stars get from it.
Katy Perry was rumored as the headliner for Super Bowl for some time now and now it is official. The news was announced on Sunday during halftime of the New York Giants – Dallas Cowboys game and Perry herself was quick to confirm it.
She said that she’s preparing something special and that she has some “insane ideas.” Considering that the Super Bowl halftime show is almost always groundbreaking on some level, Katy Perry definitely has some big shoes to fill.
