Kate Bush has finally made her stage comeback, appearing in a live show for the first time in 35 years. She received a standing ovation as she closed the first out of 22 shows titled Before the Dawn. Expectedly, the concerts sold out in minutes.
The famous singer performed in the Hammersmith Apollo in west London, the venue where she retired from live shows, and thanked her numerous fans for their “warm and positive response”.
Several celebrities were also among the thrilled fans who witnessed Bush’s return. Madonna, Bjork and David Bowie were rumored to be in the crowd, while Lily Allen confirmed her presence via Twitter.
