Chris Brown’s to remain in jail until the end of April in order to stay out of trouble untill his next court hearing. R&B star was taken into custody on Friday, after he was arrested for violating Malibu’s rehabilitation facility rules.
Last week Brown was kicked out of the rehab center and lawmakers saw it as a failure to finish a rehab period.
Brown was originally ordered to stay in the Malibu rehab facility for 90 days, after he was arrested and charged with beating up his ex-girlfriend Rihanna in 2009.
However, the therapy dealing with his anger issues was extended earlier this month until the ongoing assault case is completed. He’s currently on trial for a fight outside a hotel in Washington, last year.
Yesterday, Brown’s request to finish his rehab stint elsewhere was rejected by Superior Court Judge James R. Brandlin who set a probation violation hearing for April 23rd.
The judge ruled to keep Brown behind bars due to his concert about the singer’s comments during his rehab period about usage of guns and knives.
