Jay-Z Buys His Favorite Champagne Brand

It is no secret that Shawn Carter, a.k.a. Jay-Z, is a big fan of champagne. So the news of him buying a champagne brand comes as no surprise.
The brand in question is Armand de Brignac, the luxury champagne that comes in a gold-plated bottle and usually goes for at least $300.
The brand was owned by New York City-based Sovereign Brands, which confirmed it had sold Armand de Brignac to Jay-Z but wouldn’t comment on the price.
Armand de Brignac is produced by only eight people in Chigny-Les-Roses in France . Jay-Z fans know the brand from being featured in his music videos.
This champagne, also known as Ace of Spades, was displayed at the fundraiser that Jay-Z and Beyonce organized for Obama back in 2012.
With this new acquisition, Jay-Z adds champagne to his long list of business ventures, which range from music (of course), through restaurants, clothing lines and more.
