Estefan is one of the best-selling artists of all time. She has sold 90 million records worldwide. Additionally, Gloria won seven Grammy Awards during her prolific career.
She was ranked #81 on VH1’s 100 Greatest Women of Rock N Roll and was honoured with a Star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
Estefan has stated on various occasions that she was comfortable in her own skin and that she didn’t care much about fashion.
‘’Fashion is nice, but it’s for the fans. If it were up to me, I’d be in a sweat suit!’’
Well, maybe she should have thought twice before coming to a Halloween party dressed like a goth chick. Namely, Estefan showed up at the 13th Annual Bette Midler’s New York Restoration Project’s Halloween gala at the Waldorf Astoria dressed in black, covered in studs and spikes. Although it was the scariest night in the year, this look just didn’t suit Gloria.
