Is Katy Perry Trying To Commit Career Suicide?

Katy Perry just made a very strange statement, we’re still not sure what to think about it. Check out what she told the AP:
I’m all about female empowerment and uplifting people’s spirits, and people finding their own voice with songs like `Roar’ and `Firework,’ so maybe there is no better person.
This was directed at Taylor Swift. Perry also mentioned Beyoncé, who performed the 2013 halftime show.
Over 110 million people tuned in to watch last years Super Bowl making the halftime show something that everybody wants. NFL reportedly asked Perry to pay for the privilege of performing, recognizing what a huge opportunity is this. An offer that Perry refused. This years Super Bowl will be held at University Phoenix Stadium, February 1.
