Internet Hates Casting For Next True Detective Season

After the huge success of the first season of the True Detective television show, expectations are very high. The first season was a raging success that started Matthew McConaughey and Woody Harrelson as the leads, and both actors received rave reviews for their roles.
It was announced this week that the central characters of season two will be played by Vince Vaughn and Colin Farrell, to which the Internet did not react that well. Farrell will be playing a detective that is caught between his work with the police force and ties he has with the mob, while Vaughn will be playing a criminal who is trying to build a legal business for the first time in his life.
It’s peculiar that no women cast members have yet been announced, considering the fact that earlier news about the second season from the creators mentioned that the main characters would be “strong females.”
