How Bruce Jenner’s Transition Made The Kardashians Our New Role Models
Who would have ever thought that one day we would look up to the Kardashians as a role model of tolerance and enlightenment.
But that is exactly what has been happening since Bruce jenner’s transition. They are being very sensitive, honest and accepting of the whole thing. So much so that we now wish that kind of acceptance in our own families.
In a two-part special “Keeping Up With the Kardashians: About Bruce” we had a chance to see how the family is handling Jenner’s transition into a woman. It showed us how everyone is supporting and open to the proccess. With Kardashians becoming a real positive figures in the LGBT movement we can safely say that they are making a great example for the rest of the world.
The special began with a note from Jenner in which he stated:
“Families of trans people often feel they need to grieve the loss of the person that they thought they know. My family’s feelings are included here in the hope that other families will know that they are not alone, and to show that families move on from this grief. Today my family loves, supports, and accepts me as I am—and I am so grateful.”
