Harry Potter Actor Not Engaged, Despite Reports

Female fans of Harry Potter star Daniel Radcliffe can rest easy – he is not engaged, despite reports made earlier this week. According to Star magazine, Radcliffe and his girlfriend Erin Darke got engaged and are planning a wedding for some time next year. The couple was near Lake Michigan at the time, but according to the report, they were waiting before making it official.
The report stated that the couple wanted to pick out the perfect rings and take a trip out to France later this year and make it official then. It would certainly be more romantic than getting engaged in Michigan.
However, Radcliffe’s agents and representatives quickly reacted and denied the claims, stating that Radcliffe and Darke are not planning on getting married any time soon.
The two have been dating since October 2012. Darke is an actress as well and is best known for her role in 2013’s “The Wolverine.”
Radcliffe, of course, is best known for playing Harry Potter in the very popular movie franchise. He has been acting since the age of 10 and has successfully transitioned from a child actor to adult movie star.

While the reports of an engagement and impending marriage are not true, the couple seem to still be very much in love and the relationship appears to be doing better than ever.
The two met on the set of a movie they were filming in 2012 called “Kill Your Darlings.” In this movie, Radcliffe plays famous beat poet Allen Ginsberg.
Even though the two have been dating for almost two years, they only recently went public with the relationship. This should tell fans that the two are very private, so don’t expect them to make an engagement public right away even if it does eventually happen.
