Guthrie of Today Show – It’s a Girl!

Host of the Today Show Savannah Guthrie had a baby girl on Wednesday night.
The baby’s name is Vale, and it is her first. According to a message Guthrie sent via Twitter, the baby was born late last night. This makes a lot of sense for her, since she is already really used to waking up at an ungodly hour, considering that she hosts a show that starts at 7am.
The baby weighs 8.5 pounds and is 19.5 inches long, according to the people at Today. Her co-host Matt Lauer was texting to see if everything was ok, and after a wait of a couple hours, he received a photo of the baby’s foot, telling him that she had been born.
The father of the child is Michael Feldman, who married Guthrie in March.
