George Clooney To Receive The Cecil B. DeMille Award

Oscar and Golden Globe winner George Clooney is getting ready to receive the Cecil B. DeMille Award at the next Golden Globe Awards for his “outstanding contributions both in front of and behind the camera.”
The President of the Hollywood Foreign Press Association, Theo Kingma, announced that he will be honored at the Golden Globe Awards this upcoming January.
“The HFPA is honored to bestow the Cecil B. DeMille Award to George Clooney to celebrate his outstanding contributions both in front of and behind the camera.”
This news comes on the heels of new reports that Clooney is set to marry his British lawyer fiancée Amal Alamuddin this month. Despite rumors that he will marry Alamuddin in Venice, Italy, fans and members of the media have been gathering and waiting outside of the Chelsea Registry Office in London, England where he is rumored to be tying the knot soon.
During an acceptance speech in Italy, the actor gushed about his lady.
“I would just like to say to my bride-to-be Amal that I love you very much and I can’t wait to be your husband.”
